Foreclosures in Serrano Del Vista, Banning Ca
Serrano Del Vista is a 55+ Community in Banning, Ca. Recently I was contacted by a buyer that was interested in one of the homes. She gave me a few addresses, and It turned out all the ones she wanted to see were Foreclosures.

As of last week February 1st there were several Foreclosures in Serrano Del Vista. Some of these were in good condition, and others needed quite a bit of work.
One of the things to remember about Foreclosures is they are Bank Owned, and banks don’t know the typical things
about the house. The Bank, by CA law, has to do a few things, but mostly you are buying the home “As is, where is.”
One of the Foreclosures I previewed the previous owner had taken all the window coverings, the drawer handles, curtain rods, shower head, and light fixture from the entry way. All of those things would have to be replaced, and repaired by you, the Purchaser. Anything you see, and the ones you don’t are your responsibility when you buy a Foreclosure. This is something you need to keep in mind when you are deciding which house you want to buy. Look at more than the initial price.
The Foreclosures in Serrano Del Vista change all the time, and sometimes they aren’t the best deals. A good example is a 2 bedroom with upstairs loft that is not a Foreclosure is priced about $11,000 cheaper than the cheapest Foreclosure. Plus it is turnkey…..a beautiful deal, but one that surely won’t last long.

You mention foreclosures but what about owner resales? I don’t see foreclosures or resales on your site or anywhere else on the net? –Except for the same one listing that’s posted everywhere. Could you explain why that is? –Thanks in advance.

Yes there are a few (as of today) owner resales. You see listings because they are “in contract” and we are obligated to market them. Owner resales are different…the owner is responsible for getting the word out.
Another thing is that a majority of the owner resales just can’t compete in price to the foreclosures and short sales for a buyer looking for “the best deal”. You have all lost a lot of equity and this is not only hard to deal with, but often times an owner selling their own house needs to get a certain dollar amount to move somewhere else.
