You see listings because they are "in contract" and we are obligated to market them. Owner resales are different...the owner is responsible for getting the word out. Another thing is that a majority of the owner resales just can't compete in price to the foreclosures and short sales for a buyer looking for "the best deal". You have all lost a lot of equity and this is not only hard to deal with, but often times an owner selling their own house needs to get a certain dollar amount to move somewhere else.
